Or have you ever had one start out crappy and just not get any better? Did you finish it? Did you want to burn it afterward? What are some books you just didn't like?

The one he wrote with his brother. It just did not follow the scheme of his others and i could not get all that into it. But it was not supposed to. I love his books! The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Not that this book was bad but when the truth came out it made me mad. James Frey Million Little Pieces.

I didn't like having to read Scarlet Letter in High School, but that is partial because they make you find the symbols in EVERYTHING! I can understand some symbols.... Another book was one I read in 6th grade, the conflict was a woman trying to decide whether to leave her home or not. I don't remember it much, but it would probably be a book with a lot of depth, but at 6th grade it just dragged on.

Now Jodi Picoult's book "My Sister's Keeper" was amazing, wasn't it, unique idea, brilliantly written, just wonderful. Since that book I have been trying to read her other books, I read the "tenth circle", I had to trudge through that one, such a heavy and disturbing book but I finished it feeeling disgusted. I would not reccomend that one to anyone, especially if you have teenage daughters, it will make you sick. I have since tried buthave not been able to get past about 3 chapters of 2 of her other books. They are so heavy and slow to me, anyone else find Jodi Picoult just too much?

I love Jodi's books but I can't read two in a row that is for sure! I couldn't make it through Tenth Circle, I just had Megan and was all hormonal...Yeah not a book for moms with teen girls or girls period.
