It's great when we find a good story that we just can't stand to step away from. It's quite the opposite when we invest in a book, only to find it boring and tough to read half-way through. What about you? Ever find that book you simply couldn't put down?

I think the only thing worse than that.. is the almost mourning feeling u get when its all over!! I have been waiting years to finish a series by Terry Goodkind, and book 12 just came out reciently, and it took 2 days to finish that AMAZING 12th book... as I got closer to the final chapters though, how do u slow down and savor the ending!! now the characters are gone and its like missing a friend who's gone ( but u can re-read the book.. hehe) The strangest coincidence was the Friday nite i was finishing the final chapter, about 1 hour later, without my even knowing ABC had started a TV mini series of his books - The Sword of Truth!! So far only 6 or 7 1 hour tv episodes have come out!! YEA.. what an unexpected surprise from finsihing one of my favorite sci-fi series!! Can't wait for the next book to escape into!!

I finally just bought it yesterday for my 13 year old daughter, she has been wanting it since it came out. Apparently EVERYONE is reading it. I had to get a confident review about it being age appropriate before I got it for her, I finally got that review the other day, a fellow mom advised me that there was nothing beyond kissing so I bought it. I would have read it myself but i am really not into vampire kind of stuff. I hear now that a lot of people are not into vampire kind of stuff and they all really enjoyed it. I may give it a try when i am done with the new James Patterson. Cross Country, anyone read it yet? I just got it last night also. Yes, I love James Patterson, I totally agree, it is so sad when the book ends

There are days, normally Sunday, where I pick up my book in the morning and before I know it I have to turn on a light because the sun has set.

I have the whole series and have read each one at least 10 times (for those that know HP books, know they are not thin books at all). I can't put them down. When I first got the new books, I was known to stay up all night reading, losing track of time. Stop and look how miraculous God is by the colors of the season.

I get that way with Jodi Piccoult books. They are just so fascinating and unlike TV, you don't have to wait until next week to find out what happens!
