Has anyone hired a tutor?  What is the going rate?  Did it help?  Any help appreciated!

I charged $10/hr to tutor Algebra 1 - but that was nearly 10 years ago!  lol  Where has the time gone?  I wld expect to pay at least that much depending on the subject matter & where you live.

You may want to ask a local college if they have any teaching students in need of tutoring time.  When I was in school, we were required to find children to tutor as part of some class requirements.  AND, we had to offer our services for free!
