Not literally ladies but seriously, were you trying to get pregnant when you got the news or was it a blessing in disguise?  Were you timing your cycle? DId you have trouble or did it happen quickly? 

FOr us, both boys were planned and I bought ovulation tests and got pregnant the first month with both.  I made my hubby do his duty twice a day for three days straight (not that he complained much) and it did the trick!  We were very fortunate with oru conceptions.

with Liv one night we decide dthat it was time to start trying, the next morning I was like you know what, I don't want to have another right now. lets not try any more we need to be careful! Who knew that that one night would be the night that god decided it was time... I got preggers with Liv.

My wonderful son Kameron was not planned at all.......I had just gotten married a month before I got pregnant with him. I had no idea I was pregnant for awhile and was in a car accident where my car flipped over three times and was a complete lost. But it wasn't according to my plan but God's and I have a healthy active 19 month old because of it

 

Both my girls were EXTREMELY planned.  I had to used advanced reproductive techniques to get pregnant.

However, I will say, that I never made it to my expected period/testing date.  I cheated and did home tests like4 days before I was supposed to! 

We tried for Katelynn and it took 10 months.  When she was 13 months we decided to try again and I got pg in 2 months and I misscarried that baby at 14 weeks.  After that I wanted to know everything about getting pg and started reading every book I could about infertility and the woman's reproductive system, I have lots of knowledge lol  And then applied everything I learned from those books to get pg again after 9 months of no luck I decided I couldn't take it anymore and told Hubby we were done.  I got pg the next month with Anthony.  Now I have never been on birth control since my miscarriage, I learned enough from those books to prevent pg without it.  We practice the Family Planning Method and it has worked for us.  We weren't trying for Owen, but also wasn't preventing pg's either.  He was my welcome home present from being away on a  mission trip for 2 weks.

we decided at one point that we had been together long enough that maybe we should try to have a baby so we stopped using condoms the one and only thing we ever used. we went for over a year not really trying just if it happened it happened i guess tim was starting to think he was shooting blanks from all the abuse he had dished out on his crotch when he was younger (yeah him and his friend had weird ideas of fun like lets see how many times you can take being hit in the crotch with random objects) then i missed my period heh. this time we had talked about having another one since we didnt want simon to be the spoiled only child hehe figured ok we will just do what we did last time no more condoms, well this time it only took a couple times. this will be the second and last one 2 is enough and there is no way im going through this again. 

We got pregnant while using various birth control methods.  Three of my four pregnancies ended up as a result of the birth control not working.  Anyway, now I have my tubes tied and if I get pregnant again...well I guess it is just another gift from God. 

The first wasn't planned & was the first time we did it, second on the pill got pregnant, third had IUD got pregnant,fourth was planned & misscarried then 2 months later got pregnant again.

Our first wasn't planned - seems to be kind of a trend!  Our plan was to go off BC pills in July, but we ended up getting pregnant in May.  We owe that to our cat - at least in our minds - she gave birth to her litter the same week we got pregnant. 

On the go for #2 has been in process for about 2 months and right now we are low key, though I must admit I am paying attention to the ovulation dates!  We'll see...

We had talked about waiting a year or two after getting married before starting to have kids.  But then after the first month, we decided that maybe I would just stop taking the pill (since they say it can take up to a year to get out of your system before you can get pg).  That first month off the pill I got pregnant with Emma.

Timothy was also planned and happened very quickly.  This one was also VERY planned and took a lot more time than we had planned, but I know that God's timing on this is just right and we are SOOOOOO excited!

Our little princess was planned - we wanted to get married, get our college degrees, get our house, and then have kids.  In October 06, we talked about starting to try in 07.  Just after the first of the year, we said talked again and decided to have a go at it.  I didn't use any ovulation test or anything as my body was predictable and I knew when ovulation would be.  We had sex each night for three nights and that is all it took!

Currently, baby #2 is planned for mid to late next year.

Definatly was not trying for number 1.  Ryan and i had only been dating for about a couple weeks when i got pg.  But i didnt know i was pg for a long time because my periods never stopped.  But we definatly got a blessing in disguise. 

Number 2 was not planned either.  We did not want autumn to be a spoiled only child, and we didnt want them to be too far apart in age that they wouldnt play together, but we also were not really ready for number 2.  But i am sure this one will also be a blessing in disguise.

Both were planned.  We wanted to have kids right away so I went off the pill right after we got married.  Well, it took about 7 months.  For our second, I wanted to have him/her when Nina was about three.  Thinking it would take about the same amount of time, we went off birth control right before Nina turned two.  Well, I got pregnant in about 2-3 weeks so that was a surprise (and I was kind of bummed out at first too because I wanted more time).  Then I almost lost Joanna at 11 weeks so it made me realize how much I wanted her.
