Halloween approaches and it's a Friday! What will your little one(s) dress as? Scary, fun, or cute? Will you dress?

I am not dressing up this year but I plan to next year.  Victoria was going to be Tinkerbell but she changed her mind and wanted to be a purple Barbie Fairy Princess.  Somehow I have a feeling she will change her mind again once she watches the Tinkerbell movie next week.  haha  Olivia is going to either be a kitty cat or a princess.  She will wear one of Victoria's old costumes so whichever one fits her cute chunky baby booty.  Smile

Rivers is going to be an Alligator and is so aware of the dressing up concept.  The costume is actually a Dinosaur, but when he 1st saw it, to him it was an alligator and that was the one he wanted.

We have a Halloween themed birthday party for one of his friends this Saturday where we all have to dress-up, so I will be getting into costume.  Rivers picked it out for me, a witch (which he loves and has projector thing that has an animated witch for his ceiling at night).  Once in the store, he picked out the Spider Witch costume because his next favorite Halloween decoration is Spiders.

We are getting totally excited, especially that even more houses have the decorations up.  Last night, instead of going to the park, we walked the neighborhood to look at all of them.

My children keep changing their minds.  First Emma wanted to be a Belle (again, like last year).  Then Snow White.  Then a horse.  Then a cat.  And now yesterday she said she wants to be a ballerina.  (Oh, I forgot one- before the horse she wanted to be a zebra).  At least we have the stuff on hand to be a ballerina, and I told her she cannot change her mind again.

Timothy first had NO idea what he wanted to be.  I listed off a number of suggestions, all of which he said no.  I told him that if he doesn't dress up, he won't get any candy.  So finally last week he decided that he would like to be Handy Manny (which would also be really easy to put together).  But yesterday he said that he doesn't want to be that anymore, but hasn't come up with any other ideas.  So I really don't know, but I do know we're running out of time.

As for me, I could go as a beach ball (lol) but I think I will not be dressing up this year.

We went looking for ideas one day, and my Ds was leaning toward the Ninja costume..  When we returned the next day.. it was gone... Lucky for us, they had an extra set with the 3 ninja knives and mask, so we just used a black Takewando jacket, and black pants!  It worked even better than I think the orriginal costume would have fit!!  I think we have the best second hand store, that caters to Halloween Smile  My Dh will get dressed up, but i'm not going to this year, lol, i'll be on candy duty

I am not a big Halloween person.  You could probably call me a stick in the mud when it comes to Halloween.  i never enjoyed it when i was little but for my children's sake, we awknowledge it.  This is probably my last year for Gabriel to be cute so he is Santa and Joshua is a snowman.  I have one more year of Joshua being cute so I'll be taking advantage of that.

simon is going to be ben 10 he has been dead set on it since he saw a ben 10 costume at the store. its amazing to us that hes almost 3 and he just knows he wants to be ben 10 if you ask him about any other costume he will tell you no mine ben 10 costume. we didnt buy him the premade ben 10 costume since it was $20 and cheesy we bought him a thing of white under shirts and fabric paint so now we just need to paint the black lines on and my mom picked up some green sweat pants for us we also bought him a omnitrex which has hardly left his arm since hes had it, so far that was the most expensive part of the costume hehe.

i love halloween and i usally dress up but none of my normal halloween clothes will fit me im to big =(. ill have to figure something out i know my black velvet and purple satin cloak will fit since its huge but ill have to come up with something else to wear ill prolly do my hair and makeup though guess i really should just wait and see how im feeling on halloween hehe im just going to be the one handing out candy. i made tim buy a tshirt from target that looks like a ghostbusters uniform so he will be wearing that.

we started putting up our decorations yesterday but still have more to do.

To feed my OCD of matching my girls, Shelby is going to be an angel and Savannah is going to be a devil, a pretty devil.

That is IF I finish making their costumes!
