Are you the one who goes to their room in the morning and decides what they're wearing? What about for holidays or parties? Do they insist on wearing something or do they still allow you to put forth the outfit for the day?

Mine are still to little to put up much of a fight.  Victoria will gripe every once in a while when I pick something out for her.  When she does I will usually offer a choice.  For the most part though I pick out her clothes based on the weather for the day.  I do not think it will be long though before she is more independent in this area.

We try to compromise- if they are in the house I let them choose.  School I check to make sure it matches.  Megan gets pretty wild with her choices A LOT of sparkles!

I get my kids clothes every day before school.  Even my oldest still has me get her clothes, and yes I still do - spoiled little brats.  With it getting cooler here in the evenings now, my kids clothes will be placed in the dryer to have them put on warm before school.

simon loves to pick out his own tshirts then i just grab shorts to go with them now i need to go dig through his clothes and find more of his long pants.

They pick & I see if it matches, then I go from there but if it's a special occasion I pick out their clothes.

School clothes are decided by the school...lol They have a dress code.  I pick out the boys clothes for them and Katelynn will pick hers out and bring them to me to make sure its ok.  She does pretty good.

We get clothes out the night before.  I usually look up the weather and give them guidelines.  I have to work around gym days with Savannah, too.  I hate her having gym 3 days a week.  She still loves to wear dresses, but I don't let her on gym days.  

Twice a month, Savannah has Brownies, so she wears her uniform to school.  

Shelby is a lot easier, as she can wear her dresses every day. 

 

As for Holidays, I pick it out and they HAVE to match....LOL.  I am working on finding their Christmas dresses now.  OH, They have to have matching pjs too!
