Title: Nights and Days mixed up?
Posted: 5 months ago

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible for a foetus have it's nights and days mixed up?? I find that at 30 weeks or so he started moving more at night then during the day. But at 9pm everynight (when I am usually in bed) he starts to move around tons!

I have heard that it is normal for fetuses to be active at night. Mine was pretty active at that time. I figure that during the day it is like a baby in a car, the movement puts them to sleep (maybe that is why newborns also have days and nights mixed up). Without the movement at night when you want to rest, they wake up and start moving. Sometimes it would be hard to go to sleep with ds moving late into the night!

That's good to know, thank you very much!!! The last couple of nights I have found it hard to sleep cause he is moving around so much at 9pm and later.
