Mom2SavvynShelby Joined: 8/29/06 Posts: 762 *Mommytalking Legend* Rep points: 7196 Send PM	Title: Shelby's Year Post Op Check Up Posted: 5 months ago After several weeks of fighting with my insurance company, I was able to take Shelby back to her surgeon for her year post op visit from her kidney surgery. We got GREAT NEWS! Her kidneys are growing like they should, all of the hydronephrosis (dialation) of her kidneys s gone. We go back again in a year and if things continue to go along as expected, she is going to be released from his care!! Praise GOD! LeeAnn Mom to Lara (24) Stacie (17) Savannah (7) and Shelby (5)

I am suffering with hydronephrosis myself. The urologist is watching my kindney function. They may have to put the stents back in me. Ugggh. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

Can I ask who her nephrologist is? My granddaughter is going in for a VCUG next week. She only has 1 kidney (born that way) but it may be malfunctioning. She also has a kidney disorder that complicates things. Since you live close to me, I thought maybe we could compare some notes on docs and hospitals?

I would STRONGLY recommend him to anyone! He is awesome. He was great with Shelby and really good with the totally freaking out me! The staff at the hospital was really great too. I certainly hope I never have to spend time at UW childrens Hospital again, but have to say her/my care was excellent!!
