Now that online rentals have gotten so popular with sites like Netflix, cable networks offer HBO and other premium movie channels on demand, cable and satellite both offer DVR service where you can record the movie and watch it whenever you want and there are so many movie channels that you may just watch the movie when it's actually on, do you ever still go to Blockbuster or a movie store and rent the DVD anymore? How do you choose to watch movies?

I've seen those boxes at the grocery store. Don't they end up being more money? I was always skeptical about those.

We used to do on demand or ppv sometimes even record the movie on our dvr but in the last couple of months we've been going through netflix. It works for us because you don't have to worry about taking the movie back late or accidently being erased off the dvr. You can hold on to it until your done and we are big movie watchers so it ends up being cheaper also.

After my last experience of attempting Blockbuster with a 15 mo. old, who really wanted to run around, I jumped on the Netflix train.

Wow, I can't remember the last time we actually rented a movie...
"I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." -Psalm 57:9-11.

We go rent movies everyday and we can rent as many times a day as we like. We don't really go to the theathers sinces its more expensive for six. We have on demand as well but sometimes it takes a while for them to load new movies. We only buy on paperview when its really a movie we have not seen.

Recently we had been renting from redbox. Since I now will wash dishes for my brother at times, I borrow some movies and we now watch them. (The Love Bug was the most recent). I haven't been to the movies since Christmas -may go to the IMAX soon to see Batman. I plan to not going to movies for awhile since ds is pretty young.

we joined that program at Blockbuster where you can rent 3 movies and keep them as long as you need to. And we are a DVR family. we record movies and shows all day long. We rarely watch anything when it is actually on, we are not a commercial family! The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

I take advantage of the on line services for movies that are classics that I haven't seen yet or for those that I know I will never get a chance to see in theatres...It's been a Loooooooooooong time since I've been to a movie in the theatre.
