This is a great article!  It's a great reminder that we often put our own ideas, dreams and callings aside and put our family first.  I don't think it's bad to make sure that your children and family are well-cared for.  And there are seasons in our lives when we just need to put others before ourselves.  But I also believe that each of us was put here for a purpose, with specific gifts and abilities and ambitions.  It's easy to forget those things or put them on the back burner indefinitely. 

I have known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to be an at-home mom.  This is something that is really important to me and I am very thankful for the opportunity to be able to do that.  But once the kids are all in school full-time, I will have more time to be able to pursue some of the other things that are important to me.  For many years, I have had a desire to become a writer and speaker.  I have actually written one children's book that my mom is illustrating.  But yeah, I would love to spend more time on that.  Soon......

I have always been very interested in forensic science. I would love to be a CSI and work on crime scenes. I live in a small town where there isn't much crime, (that is a good thing). I love too watch crime shows, maybe too much. I hate that people have to die and that other kill people for no reason, but I would love to be the one that figures out how, who, when, where and the why. I don't think this will ever happen, but it is nice to dream.

   ME??? I once dreamt of writing  but decided  against it .. Garys our writer... Ive thought I might enjoy talk show host    But my passions were Photography  and Peds  in my youth ... I actually took much better pics   w my old kodaks lol... and wished only that I was smart nuff in chemistry , math  for Serious Nursing in Specialty training .. My mother wanted me to be a journalist ... I did quite well at in school  but not my heart ... As I grew older  I lost sight of all my dreams for me ... And Now  Im  back to that question as a MOM OF GROWN kids  Im now Free to pursue a Life of my own ... But havent a clue anymore .. Cept to live out my days pleasing my Lord ... helping where  Im needed .. I need to REMAP my loves
