I prefer whole wheat and whole grain breads, which is what I grew up with.  Randy prefers white, which he grew up with.  So, I buy some that I like, and go for the whole grain white for him.  The kids usually pick that too on the occasions when they eat a sandwhich.  But yeah, what you grow up with and what you are used to makes a big difference.

I love the dark breads.  Although the fam does not so I rarely will buy them.  I usually buy a 12 grain and bring to work for pb sandwiches when I am hungry.  I was just wondering last night while packing E's lunch if he would eat a whole wheat bread.  I think I am going to try it anyway.

white but we dont have bread in the house very often. we were buying simon the sara lee white wheat bread since he wouldnt eat the other wheat bread we bought him (even the birds wouldnt touch it) but that stuff scares me now it sat on the counter forever and never molded.

I absolutely love whole grain and rye bread. My husband will only eat white. The kids prefer the white also. I have tried working on them about it, but what dad eats, they want too.

My Children never ate white bread.  We only eat whole wheat.   

My favorite is sourdough, and someone just told me it was healthier than whole grain. I don't know why it would be. I always fed my kids Health Nut bread. It makes a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They used to come back with their sandwich still in the lunchbox. it seems they traded for white bread

I know I should care for the ingrediants and whatnots but we are white or potato bread eaters here!
