In our house it is the glove goblins and the mitten monster-they are everywhere at home, in the car at the grocery store, they even love the cubby at school.

Very cute story!   No gnomes or monsters here....

I actually think that my washing machine eats our socks.  You put a pair in and only one comes out! LOL!

Indeed THE WASHERS BEEN PROVEN TO EAT  SOCKS AND ANYTHING COMES IN PAIRS LOL  !!!!  And the gnomes are real too hehheh   In our house they steal Hats Scarves  Boots Shoes  hAIR PULLS  aNY AND EVERY THING    Course the Black Hole  gets PLENTY TOO  

What I don't understand is, the gnomes only tamper with my socks. My husbands always come out all together. I am starting to wonder if the gnomes work for my husband. Either way, its not fun. We have a bag full a lonly socks needing their partner.

Oh, they're real, all right!!!  The sock monsters, the underpants gnomes, the glove goblins....all of them.  They also love remote controls, jewelry, keys, tools......oh yeah, it's frightfully real.

Although, I have discovered that with keys and tools, the last person to have seen them before the goblins got to them is our son.  And if it's crayons missing, our puppy probably ate them.

But see, this is one of the great things about this site.  When we start to feel like we're completely losing our minds, we realize that it is not just us.....it's a conspiracy!!!!!

Very cute story! Our socks go to sock heaven. I imagine the lone sock being sucked right out of the dryer vent and flying upward like a helium balloon to God knows where.
