Thanks The band, Five for Fighting, is generously donating $0.40 to Autism Speaks for each time the video is viewed the funding goes toward research studies to help find a cure. One thing-always be a champion for your children, if you feel your child isn't devoping don't allow wait and see to be an option pester the DR. till he gives in. Take it in your own hands contact you county to find out what your local programs are or call the school district they can help.

I reposted this for all of my friends to see. There is such a need for Autism Awareness. It has been awhile now but we were in one of the super wal-marts and there was an older boy who was having a melt-down. We could not even get through the isle from all the people who were stopped and starring. It was horrible. I felt just like screaming at everyone! If people could just take a step back sometimes and try putting theirself in that parents shoes for even a minute they may change their outlook. As a teacher of children with special needs I have had parents tell me that owners of businesses have come up to them and asked them not to come back. That makes me so sad. If people would take the time to get to educated theirselves they would be amazed. I absolutely love my job and the kids that I teach. Thanks for sharing!
