I am cooking as we take naps , Getting  ready for company , yakking to kin on the phone , and  chillin for a few  I take a few mins here and there when all R  doing other stuff .... or when I need a min lol  .... Cooking first primerib roastand taking forever !!!! but casserole greensspuds all done

I just put dinner in the oven should be done in about an hr.  Kids are playing with new toys and dh is cleaning up the kitchen.

It's done... cooking is done!  We had a great first christmas with our son!!!  But I am glad the work part is over.  We had Turkey, ham, peas, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, corn, cake, cookies, rolls, and I am done!  No more coooking all week.  The hubby is taking me out!!!  (doubtlful but I am hopeing!!)

We ate about 1, had ham, potatoes, beans, and green bean cassarole.  Now I am having a piece of cherrypie.  It is all cleaned up and we are having ham, potatoes, beans and green beans for supper - when anyone wants to fix themselves a plate an heat it up in the microwave.

Nothing fancy this year, as I hate eating leftovers for 4 days and then still throwing items away.

Oh, and to top off, my M&FIL sent us a smoked turkey, this coming from here is some diet information now they send me food-- so that is in freezer and we will ear on 1/1.

Actually, I'm cooking up a couple of pizzas (from scratch ^_~) for my family. Aside from that, nothing out of the ordinary. Just another ordinary day for our family. We would have gone out to Chinese food and a movie, but the kids are a little too young for a movie and everyone wanted pizza more. ^_^

Its all a blur! I'm so tired I can barly remember what went on in this house today... I just now cleaned up the living room for the third time today I can finally see the floor.

There is a mountain of dishes in the sink begging to be rinsed and cookies and other yummy treats wanting to be put in ziplocks and stashed away in the freezer...

Still so much to do... oh my goodness!

My mom and I were making Tamales. We then are going to make Mexican Hot Chocolate (Champurrado). We are also making Sweet tamales. Yah that is what we are having today

We had a few people over. Hubbys sister and her family stopped. My parents where here in the morning when Joyce opened her presents. My dad asked my mom to marry her again. Hehe it was cute. I made ham,Mash Potatoes, Cream Corn and Marshmellow salad, Gravy, and Bisquits. Today was a good day. But seemed like I couldnt wake up to do anyting. I didnt get everything done that I wanted to. Guess theres tomorrow. After we ate dinner hubby put everything away. Joyce and I sat here and watched her new backyardigs she got from her grandparents. But it will probally be and early night for us tonight. We are all so tired. O yea and Joyce is sick . Poor thing. She got up and opened all her stuff and then went back to sleep.

All the cooking was done by my Mom (yeah me!) but I had to make the fruit fluff.  I like making that as it has to be made a day ahead, so I was done yesterday!

I DO understand tired   sigh  I too am getting sick.. Got a sore throat , low grade fever started later in day... had to lie down awhile after small dinner, and  ohhhh I need moren tums lol ... had cheese cake , green bean casserole , shrimp dip,  prime rib roast, smashed spuds, greens......rolls,  cookies  eggnog,  milk, hot cocoa    and only a few peeps ate anything... bugs going round and we all feeling   under par tho happy. and only grazed myself... Boys   so happy... Sammi had some coworkers over.... and tho theres still a Riskgame goin on   its  quiet here. Was a good day  overall....  

well tim and i got up kinda to early we should of just stayed in bed longer, got more stuff cleaned up got stuff ready to cook. simon got up after 11am went present crazy and had to make sure we had his real guitar or toy guitar the whole time we are getting stuff cooked. i call my dad he said he doesnt feel good so hes staying home, i told ppl to be over here around 3 or 4 around 4:10 my mom calls and says they are on their way but shes not feeling good. my sister gets here about 4:30 when i wasnt expecting her till 5 since she had to go get caleb from his dads then my mom gets here around 5. caleb is being a pain in the butt because he just came from his dads just wants to play video games and wont leave me alone about it. we finally just open presents to hopefully shut him up but that doesnt work hes still bored and just wants to play video games. we finally eat late stuff is kinda cold caleb throws a fit because he doesnt want to eat the food he asked for just because he heard someone mention pie. i almost strangled my sister when she said just wait till simon is his age he will be the same way i just replied no he wont. i have never been around another 6 year old that acts like that errrrrr and she wants me to babysit this week. im soooooo glad he is gone. now to get the rest of the cleaning done but im finishing my beer first.
