scents like music go along with memories for me

#1 would be the smell of tangarines, oranges and grapefruit.... those were a staple in our home at christmas time as a child.

#2 home made hot cocoa.... mmmmm just the scent can make you warm

#3 fresh pine.... miss that one

#4 the smell of the box that hold the ornaments all yr long when you first open it

#5 the smell in the air when snow is falling

How could I not have listed the fireplace !!!!!! How   distracted that post became LOL  and Wanted to add the smell of the snowfall but thought you all would think my crazier than u already do HEHHEH   Great scents   AAAHHHHH The Cocoa was nother  but felt Id  done too much food and drink already ROFL and for that matter   may as well say Hot Apple Cider on a tree lot or skate rink  , Hot TODDYS  and  Baileys in the cocoa or butterscotch hehheh  Blackberry Brandy and Cherry Pipe tobacco    Grampa and Daddy   loved those and few times Ive smelled since leaving home   thats my thoughts of Christmas Eve at Grampas

Yummm  I'm almost hungry from just thinking about all the wonderful smells... I got a candle at Micheals that almost sums up all those Christmas smell, and its called Holiday Cheer...very nice!!

1. Hot apple cider with cinnamon stick

2. Freshly-cut Christmas tree ( like turpentine)

3. Eggnog with nutmeg

4. Prime rib encrusted with rock salt.

5. The new perfume I received as a Christmas gift

Hmmm....

Definitely real Christmas tree smell (not fond of pine scented candles....just not the same).  Also not so much the year that we got one that smelled like dog pee. 

Also the burning wood/fireplace/campfire smell (also something you can't truly duplicate)

The fresh, clear scent of a snowy winter night.....

Thank you guys!  This just makes me so excited for Christmas!  I love it when we get just a little snow coming down on Christmas.  We definitely have enough on the ground for a white Christmas.  It's so fun to see it sparkling like diamonds on a sunny day, and to have slow, soft, big flakes floating down on Christmas.....I love that.

And yes, I know that last part has nothing to do with favorite scents, but what do ya do?
