How many of you do this every year? What is it that you buy? Do you go ready with a list or do you buy whatever catches your eye?

 

 I have never done this but I was thinking about doing it this year. I was looking at the ads online and some things seem to have a good price.

I did it one year and vowed to never do it again. And I havent.

i dont go shopping on black friday at all i cant stand the crazyness. shopping is hell from now till after xmas i hate going into the mess but im kinda forced to havent done any xmas shopping =/ i suck.

I dont go shopping on black friday, but i am still stuck in the whole mess of it because i work that day.   I have to be at work at 4:30am, and i know it is going to be crazy. 

I know this will sound goofy, but I am afraid to go to the store on Black Friday.  I avoid any store like the plague.  I think it is because every year you hear of people getting shot, stabbed, trampled, or beaten in the stores.  I am afraid of getting hurt...

Besides, this year I have all of my shopping done already!  Yay!!

I had never done it before and I did this morning!  Me and one of my girlfrietnds went at midnight to the outlets here.  WHAT A MISTAKE!!!  It was a madhouse and I walked out 2.5 hours later with 1 gift!!!!!  We ended up at a diner for breakfast.  It was fun in terms of I got some time out alone with one of my friends and my hubby was at home with our son!  As for shopping, I'll do it online!!!

First time Black Friday shopper today.  UGH!  I went out this am, to one store - I picked up a few things as I walked into the store.  By the time I picked up a few more  - I saw the check out lines - OH HECK NO!  I put the stuff back, and in all the right places - and left. 

Parking was wonderful, did not have toruble finding a spot, the lot was not even at full capacity.

NEVER EVER AGAIN.  I do not care what kind of deal it is.  Ppl are nuts, you stand in line for an hour or more to save a few $ when you think about it.  Well next year there is NO $ for my sleep!

I used to go every year, but lately there really hasn't been anything Ive been real interested in.  I am going to head out to JoAnn Fabrics soon.  The sale is until noon, but it wasn't worth going at 5am!

My girls do go out whenever they can , and Ive yet to see a deal so sweet from either of them to make it worth it .  Gar and I have gone to shop on this day , choosing stores not as high trafficc but  thats about it .

I've gone out a few times. I didn't this year and it made me a little sad to wake up this morning knowing I'd missed it all. I usually don't look for anything in particular. I just like the excitement of it all. People are rushing every which way and standing in line at the door...it's fun. I went for the first time with my mother during the furby craze (if anyone remembers that) It was soooo funny to me to see people freaking out over a little gremlin that talked. Of course, we were one of them! LOL Last year I went to Toys R Us and got a ton of stuff for my kids at really grat prices. Their footie pjs were buy one get one free and those things are usually pretty high priced so I got a bunch of pjs. But nothing intrigued me this year. Plus I hosted Thanksgiving for the whole family for the first time and I wanted a good night sleep. Maybe next year.

I went to Target at 4 a.m. (thought they opened at 5 but it was 6) And was kinda happy I did I was 13^th in line and got the last Guitar Hero for the PS2. Boy all I heard was she got the last one and people were rude my cart was all the way down the aisle when I went to go put it in there. But 1 store that was it for me!!!

It's a day I will be sure to sleep in every year. Shopping on Black Friday is way to hectic for me. XD

No Black Friday shopping for me, it is far to hectic.  I must admit, you can get some great deals.  Still, I would rather limit the quantity of gifts purchased to save my sanity.

Plus, the dazed and confused look of shoppers not paying attention where they are walking or even driving lasts for about 1 hour of my tolerance and then my frustration levels rise.  I either have to have no agenda and go with the flow for a few hours to deal or in & out shopping it is.

we went out but didnt rush at all just to get some sales and if we missed em o well

I dont like Xmas shopping now anyways let alone on Black Friday. Too many nuts out there. Rather do all my shopping online. Walmart has some good deals on clothes.
