Yes I took those for a while during my twin pregnancy

I remember I tried just about everything and the doctors didn't want to give me this medicine it was the last resort if everything else fails.  I also remember that it cost $100.00 a pill and I would cut them in half and say...heres $50.00 going in my body..we thought it was funny....Those pills worked the BEST!!!!  Hope you are feeling better.  And remember alot of pregnant women crave wierd cravings because our bodies know what we need....so the pickle juice and pickle cravings go for it!!! The dill and vinegar calms the acid and "sick" feeling we have.  Also, ginger ale and fat free saltines.....work really well too.

The Doctor put me on Promethazine for morning sickness. Not sure how well it works cause seems like it all went away. Hope you find something that helps. I know what it is like. With Joyce I had it 24/7 and nothing helped. Good Luck.

WOW!!!  I didn't even know there was such a thing.  When I was pregnant I puked everyday non stop from the minute my feet hit the floor till around lunch time.   I tried everything ginger ale, ginger tea, crackers.....nothing helped.  But it didn't stop me from eating everything in sight!!! LOL!!!!!  luckily I worked in an office by myself and no one ever came in, so I could use the bathroom all the time!!!

So cool!  If it helps!!!!  I have to remember that!!!  All the midwives told me it was a "good sign" to have "morning sickness", and that it would eventually go away.

My sister was on Zofran for both of her pregnancies. She said that she couldn't have done it without it. She has very severe morning sickness to the point that she can't keep anything down, even water, and has to get IVs periodically and stuff. She did comment, though, that while the Zofran stopped her from throwing up all day long, it didn't take away the nausea.

The only thing that really helped me with morning sickness was to eat often, but that only helped a little. Taking 50 mg of vitamin B6 helped take the edge off a bit and made it not quite so bad. But I think when it's really severe, the traditional things other people do won't help. At least that's how it was for my sister and I. Good luck--morning sickness can sure be miserable, but it's worth it!

Oh Zofran became my life saver when I was pregnant. I was diagnosed with hyperemis graviderium (not sure of the spelling) when I was pregnant with Jacy. I started getting sick daily 15-18 times a day, that is no lie. I thought I was going to die, I tried home preg. tests negative, so I went to the dr. Tests there negative so I went for a gall bladder xray cuz we couldn't find a reason I was so sick...Well in two weeks I went back to the dr and surprise..there she was. I stayed sick until 7 months into my pregnancy..you talk about getting cheated out of a good thing. I cannot count how much zofran I took. Jacy turned out fine with no effects from that medicine.

Good luck to you and I'm here if you have any questions about it. It will pass even when you don't think it will.
