Title: Monday Thoughts -- Question of The Day
Posted: 1 years ago

Monday seems to come up so quickly, doesn't it? Friday can take eons to get to, but Monday has a way of rearing its head right when we're starting to enjoy our weekends. So how do you handle Monday morning? Do you sit and sing "Manic Monday" by The Bangles? Smile

I always look forward to Mondays, they seem to take forever to get here.  That is the only day during the week that my hubby doesn't have to work, so I enjoy sending the kiddos to school, knowing that hubby and I will have time to talk, eat lunch together, or maybe go to the movies without a million interruptions.

Absolute heaven. :0)

Any more for me everyday is the same.  Hubby works 2 jobs and we dont have time together. Monday he goes to work and by the time he gets home he either goes to the other job or I am getting ready to go to school. Monday just starts a new week.

Yea.  I hate mondays.  Especially when it is dark at 7am.  And it is the first day with frost!!!  and it was 32 degrees!!! YUCKY!!!!!  Dude.  I gotta go find a windshield scraper today!  I scraped with a tupperware cup this morning.  UGH.  MONDAYS.

I LOVE Mondays - I get to send the kids to school.  Granted I have to go to work, but after running, cleaning, and laundry - and being a monitor of fights - it is nice.

Generally Monday mornings are good at our house.  Especially when there are chicken nuggets at school for lunch and I do not have to make 3 sack lunches  - YEAH!

Mondays are not a huge deal here.  I get a little sad because my hubby goes back to work and I am alone again.  We enjoy our weekends so much that we start looking forward to them again on Monday morning!

Mondays come quickly for me, but are accepted as life.  I just really like to spend more than a few hours in the evening with Rivers and Judson.  The weekends is when we actually have family time together.

I tend to usually have "only on a Monday" Mondays, so they are pretty comical.

This morning is a perfect example - I'm up and out of the house by 5:30, a great start.  It was a good drive in and I arrived, parked my car and was getting out of it at 5:53, when I went to grab my backpack with my laptop only to realize, I walked out of the house and left it.

Well, that meant a drive home and back to work again in thicker traffic.  All said and done, I spent 1 1/2 hours driving this morning before my work day would start instead of 20 minutes.

I must confess, on my 2nd trip I stopped at my coffee house and picked up my coffee instead of drinking the work stuff - that helped ease the pain of my "only on a Monday"!

By the way, my Fridays come just as quick as my Monday - I think the days move at warp speed anymore.

mondays are usally a struggle to get back on schedule. simons naps seem to get screwed up every weekend either we are running around and he misses his normal nap time or he just doesnt want to take a nap i guess he would rather be playing with daddy. i usally get kinda depressed knowing that i have to deal with everything by myself the rest of the week dealing with the fits, puppy pee, refereeing simon and the puppy and hoping to somehow fit in some cleaning oh and hoping simon goes down for a nap without to much fighting so i can take a shower. this monday is worse than most since i have to take the puppy to the vet so i have to try and get stuff done quick, hop in the shower as soon as he goes down for a nap to be ready when my dad gets here to take us to the vet.
