Title: cellulitis
Posted: 2 yearss ago

Has anybody had to deal with this with there kids? My daughter was just diagnosed with this and i am not sure what to think and what it all means.

Anybody have any insite to this. My baby girl is 10 months old.

Has anybody had personal experience?

Cellulitis is a common infection of the skin and the soft tissues underneath the skin. It occurs when bacteria invade broken or normal skin and start to spread under the skin and into the soft tissues. This results in infection and inflammation. Inflammation is a process in which the body reacts to the bacteria. Inflammation may cause swelling, redness, pain, and/or warmth.

Any update on how the little one is doing?  I'm hoping everything is starting to get better for her and you.

I ended up taking her back to the Dr. The next day and he said that he did not believe that it was cellulitis. But he didn't know what it was so he gave her a shot of antibiotic in each leg. And she seems to be getting better. They did call me on Friday to tell me that she did have strep. I asked the DR. If that caused the thing on her head and she said no. But i believe that, that is what it was. So she seems to be getting better. We will see.
