Has anyone seen Will Smith's new movie Pursuit of Happiness. I wanted to go with my husband to see a movie this weekend and I thought that looked really good. Anyone seen it?

I haven't seen it but I've been wanting to. I can't wait to see what you all thought of it.

I saw that movie a couple of weeks ago. It is really a fantastic film, and I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

I got a chance to see Pursuit of Happiness and I loved it. Especailly because I have children of my own, I really got into the movie. To know that this is a true story, I give a big applaud to Chris Gardener for achieving all that he has eventhough he faced many obstacles in life. I highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. Children or no children, young or old.

I saw this movie as well.  I, however, didn't enjoy it all that much.  Maybe because it was based on a true story and was quite honestly depressing.  I left wanting more Happyness.  It was amazing at what this man overcame and what he was willing to do for his child.  As a parent myself, there is nothing that I wouldn't do for my own children.  Maybe I am just more a Romantic Comedy girl....

I saw it and I really liked it. There was a something really cool that a good citizen started doing that involved this movie. They started taking homeless people to go see this movie. The person would take a group of homeless people to lunch, then she took them to see the movie. Trying to show and prove that you are never out of it, as long as you keep fighting the good fight.

I thought that was pretty neat, so I wanted to share.

I absolutely loved this movie!  It was so uplifting and thought-provoking. Best of all, it is based on a true story. The protagonist is relentless in his desire to be successful as a businessman and a father. He overcomes incredible odds. It's a movie every parent should watch---a reminder of how important it is to be role models for our kids.
