Hi MommyTalkers!

So excited and honored to write today's feature article for MommyTalk. Also completely psyched about Wishpot Baby's blossoming partnership with MommyTalk.com. Soon you will be able to share your Wishpot wish lists and registries right here at MommyTalk.

You've probably seen a lot of wish list and shopping sites and you're probably wondering what makes Wishpot different. Besides being easy and fun to use, Wishpot Baby has enlisted a hand-picked group of Mom and Dad Experts (ok, I admit, I do the handpicking so if you want to get in on the action, you know who to talk to) to share their product suggestions, offer advice, and create a community around shopping for babies and kids.

Let there be no mistake though. No mom expert is exactly the same. You see, the best thing about Wishpot Baby's Mom Experts is that they all offer different points of view. A few of them are pretty geeky (seriously, they admit to it!) and some are cloth diapering, babywearing crunchy moms. A couple of moms only want the most upscale, luxurious products for themselves and their families, while others are frugal and are always looking for the best deal. However, all of our Wishpot Baby Mom and Dad Experts have one thing in common: they strive to be the best parents they can be. Our Mom and Dad Experts come from all over the world and in my opinion, these are some of the most genuine, real parents you'll meet.

Think about it. Remember when you found out you were pregnant for the first time? I do. The feeling was what I would describe as sheer terror that soon became excitement and wonder. I scoured the web looking for resources, desperate to connect with other Moms. Being an expecting mom is daunting for most and Wishpot Baby is not only proud to offer a way for moms to shop anywhere to have one registry, but to offer the knowledge of our Mom and Dad Experts at Wishpot Baby. Our Wishpot Moms and Dads are at different ages and stages of their parenting life and chances are they will relate to at least one of our Experts. Even parents of older kids will see that Wishpot is fun and useful for creating birthday and holiday wish lists!

While not all of them are bloggers, a lot of our Wishpot Baby Experts are and through their own blogs and guest blogging at the Wishpot Baby blog, they share their experiences. The Experts offer their insight with regard to pregnancy, parenting, and all the ups and downs that go along with what some call, the most challenging and rewarding role we take on. Speaking of blogs, a few of Wishpot's users are bloggers and they use Wishpot to organize their product reviews for their blogs and showcase the products.

My parents always told me to do what I love and as Wishpot Baby's Chief Mom Officer, I can't think of a better job. I call a lot of the Mom Experts friends and they make me laugh (and sometimes cry) through the experiences they share. Working for Wishpot is awesome and the leadership there truly realizes and appreciates the power of Moms everywhere. When they asked me to join the team I was blown away. Not only can I use that college degree and those years of professional experience I've honed over the years, but I can still keep my role as "Mom" to my almost 3-year old. I am so grateful that I can have the best of both worlds. I admit, it is not always easy, but for me it is the ideal situation.
