Outside Fun the Green Way

by Susan Lindgrin

With a wide variety of non-toxic, green paints painting outside got a lot messier. Don't be afraid mom I have an easy way to keep it clean for you!!

You will need

4 Cups

4 different colored non-toxic, "green" paints

"Green" hand soap

Paintbrushes, grass, leaves anything you can think of to paint with.

Add paint to each cups, add a small amount of hand soap to each cup, then add a little bit of water. Take your paint and paper outside and set up a space to paint

Have the kids drop paint from up high and do low. Use the things around you, different texture and items to paint with. Use grass blades to paint grass and flowers as stamps. We used ferns, and tree branches.

When it is time to clean up use the hose- that little bit of hand soap makes clean up a breeze- and while your at spray the kids down!

Looking for more cute crafts check out these great sites

Free Kids Craft has a cute backpack buddy for all those back to schoolers.

Kids Craft Weekly always has fun and different ways to use that paint.
