Fourth of July Napkin Holders

by Onna Holland

Since Fourth of July is upon us, I thought it was a great time to create some patriotic crafts! We love to decorate for holiday's and the fourth is a particularly fun one!! We deck everything out in Red White and Blue! Before completing the craft I would suggest reading some books about the holiday with your child. A few suggestions are Biscuit's Fourth of July by Alyssa Satin Capucilli, Pat Schories, and Mary O'keefe Young, Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Jellybeans: A Fourth of July Story (Claire's Holiday Adventures) by Heather French Henry, or Fourth of July, Sparkly Sky (Sparkle 'n' Twinkle Books) by Joan Holub and Amanda Haley. I always like to talk about the holiday and the meaning of it after reading the books.

These Napkin Holders are very simple and fun to create. The kids will get a kick out of seeing their handy work displayed at the fourth of July picnic!
