Romo No-Mo

Happy Friday, MommyTalkers! Gossip Girl is back with another edition of the what's what and the who's who in that place we call Hollywood (but really, it can be anywhere).
So, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have "gone public" with their romance. They were seen canoodling poolside in Miami last week and Jessica Simpson is not a happy girl about it.
First of all, she and Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo have apparently called it splits. Actually, it's said that Romo ended the relationship (I saw that coming) and Jess was so upset about Aniston and Mayer that she got herself good and loaded and had to be driven home.
Secondly, and it has nothing to do with Jess and Romo, but sister Ashlee is supposedly getting married this weekend in San Diego. Jess was spotted there as well and if so, I bet we'll hear the pregnancy announcement shortly thereafter. Probably wouldn't do Poppa Joe proud to be pregnant and unwed, so maybe Ash will tie the knot and then share the news, like she promised Ellen she would (when she got pregnant, of course).
Coming right out to deny a pregnancy is Victoria Beckham. The former Posh Spice claims, "Look, I'm not pregnant! We would love another baby but right now, the three boys are still really young. Cruz is only three and David and I would like to enjoy them for a while." The Beckhams have three children: Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3.
Okay, Britney Spears flew to Costa Rica with Mel Gibson. Yes. She did really do that. So did her dad. Mel is letting them stay at his home down there. Some R&R for Brit-Brit? Good. We hear she's pregnant again (we also heard that last year and it turned out to be false). Celeb site What Would Tyler Durden Do has pictures of Britney appearing to hide her tummy, leading to said speculation. We'll report as soon as we hear.
So, it's confirmed. Brad and Angie are expecting twins. August 19th to be exact - twin girls. How much of that is true? Well, twins we know. Angie confirmed that, after Jack Black blabbed it to reporters at Cannes. Dustin Hoffman gave the due date to another reporter and another "source" has said girls. Angie preferred to keep their genders private for now. Gotta have something, right?
Right, so Lindsay Lohan - gay or not? The common tale has been that she's in a romantic relationship with her best friend, D.J. Samantha Ronson. While little sister Ali has said they are simply best friends and it's crazy what gets written about them, it's quite hard to think otherwise. Nevermind the fact that in many pictures, Lindsay is hanging all over this girl, but when she yelled at Ashley Olsen, she made it quite known. In case you missed that, a few weeks ago, Ashley was talking to Sam at a party and Lindsay yelled, "Get your 15-year old Full House ass away from my girlfriend!" Makes it hard to say they're not gay. And besides, have you seen Lindsay around any guys? No.
Speaking of women who don't confirm their homosexuality, Jodie Foster has apparently split with girlfriend of 14 years, Cydney Bernard. Foster, who never confirmed she was a lesbian, but everybody knew it, just acknowledged Bernard at an awards ceremony acceptance speech stating, "My beautiful Cydney, who sticks with me through with me through the rotten and the bliss.". Again, hard to deny. Legal problems to follow... the couple has two adopted children, Charles, 9 and Kit, 6.
Another split in Hollywood - singer Shania Twain and husband music producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. They have a 6-year old son, Eja (where was that when we talked about bad baby names?).
Don't mess with Drew Barrymore, people. The actress was rear-ended on a California roadway and when the other car took off, Drew ensued. Barrymore chased the vehicle as far as she could before she lost it, but was able to give the license plate number to police. This is why we love Drew.
Not only are Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson not engaged, as previously reported, but now they're not even a couple anymore! Yep, the on-again off-again couple has called it off - again. While she was seen out in Boston where she's filming a movie, he was seen hitting the club scene in New York with two women in tow. Wonder where this will go.
Did you hear that TV show Ugly Betty is moving to New York? The show is set in New York and now it will be filmed in New York. While it's great to see shows in New York again, it's hard to know that 300 people in Los Angeles will be out of work, including dry cleaners, caterers and construction crews. That's a bummer. In this economy, that's a big deal nowadays. I guess the plus side is that it will create jobs in New York. Still a bummer, though.
And to end on a happy note, American Pie actor Jason Biggs has tied the knot with girlfriend Jenny Mollen. The actors met in 2007, became engaged in January and wed in a "very private ceremony". Good for them. I wonder how old his kids will have to be before he lets them watch American Pie.
